COVENTRY.
Probably best known for the legend of Lady Godiva, its three cathedrals and the decimation of the city during the Coventry Blitz of 14 November 1940, the city has a rich and varied history.
Of great importance and wealth from the Middle Ages, Coventry was the capital of the country for a number of years during the reign of Henry VI, who brought Parliament to the city at the time of the War of the Roses.
Today, Coventry is a vibrant, multi-cultural city, with history awaiting the visitor at every turn.
With the motorway network nearby, and a direct train service to London Euston (and connections to just about everywhere else in the country), Coventry is perfectly situated to host major events. It is just a nine minute train journey from Birmingham International Airport.
Delegates will receive a detailed map of the city centre on arrival at the conference, highlighting places to visit, eat and drink.
